About Me
Dr. Brian S. Lank was born and raised in the Pocono Mountains of Northeastern, PA. He and his family moved to Sunset Beach, North Carolina in the summer of 2002. After completing his undergraduate studies at Coastal Carolina University he enrolled at Logan University in St. Louis, MO. While pursuing his doctorate, he and another fellow graduate classmate designed strength and conditioning programs as well as golf-specific rehabilitation and injury prevention programs for local collegiate teams. He received the Titleist Medical Professional certification from the Titleist Performance Institute in Oceanside, CA for golf-specific exercise programs and rehabilitation in the fall of 2006. He also received certification in Active Release Technique, the gold standard for soft tissue injuries dealing with muscles, ligaments, tendons, and nerve entrapments.
During his 9th and 10th trimesters at Logan, Dr. Lank was involved in research studies with the St. Louis Rams and St. Louis Blues team chiropractor, Dr. Mike Murphy. Dr. Lank submitted his senior research study along with several colleagues on the effects of chiropractic manipulation and active release technique for increasing golfers X-Factor (upper body rotational ability on the lower body) which was slated for publication in a major golf magazine. Upon completion of his doctorate degree, Dr. Lank took an associate position in Shallotte, NC. He later purchased the practice in January of 2010 and began the transformation to an integrative health care clinic, something he has always dreamt of.
Along the way he earned the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification, a prestigious training credential focused on implementing strength and conditioning programs for athletes and sports teams. His clinic Coastal Integrative Health offers a multidimensional approach toward patient healthcare. The practice provides chiropractic medicine, physical therapy, massage therapy, nutritional counseling, strength and conditioning programs as well as Golf performance programs through Nike and Titleist.
Dr. Lank is a frequent speaker on golf fitness, rehabilitation, and injury prevention in North and South Carolina. He is married to his wife Cristina who is a registered nurse practicing in Myrtle Beach, SC. They have two sons, Kaden and Colson, and a daughter named Raegan.
My Philosophy
My philosophy is rooted in the belief that each and every person is uniquely different from the next. What helps one person heal and recover may not help another. My goals and desires on well being may be different from that of yours. That’s why I believe in an integrative approach towards health and wellness. Sometimes it takes a team effort to think outside your comfort zone and come up with an ideal treatment plan that is both effective and time-efficient. Our motto is simple, One Patient, Multiple Solutions.
Chiropractor
Paul M. Hrvol III, D.C.
LOCATION: LELAND
Dr. Paul M. Hrvol III, born and raised in rural Illinois, has always been a competitive athlete. What started as a small-town passion led to a baseball scholarship for Missouri Baptist University, where Paul would complete a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and Minor in Biochemistry.
His interest in sports medicine was ingrained at an early age. After receiving chiropractic care for a shoulder injury, Paul found a path that fused two of his passions.
Paul remained in St. Louis to continue his pursuit of passion at Logan University College of Chiropractic and Health Sciences. There he received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
Outside of the classroom walls, Paul extended his learning with extracurricular courses and acquired several additional certifications: RockTape; Active Release Technique, the gold standard for soft tissue injuries regarding the muscles, ligaments, tendons and nerve entrapments; Selective Functional Movement Assessment, a technique used to analyze movements to help prevent injuries and improve athletic performance; and Titleist Performance Institute Medical Professional certification for golf-related exercise programs and rehabilitation.
During childhood, Paul and his family made annual visits to the coastal Carolinas, a place Paul fell in love with early in life. When the opportunity came to move to his dream destination and pursue his life’s work, there was no looking back.
