About our Certified Holistic Health Coaching Services
My name is Beth Mincher, Certified Holistic Health Coach and Essential Oils Educator, representing Young Living Essential Oils. I have been health coaching since 2012 and using therapeutic grade essential oils both personally and professionally for over 4 years. My motto is “Healthy Begins with Happy”
I am board certified by the American Association of Drugless Practitioners, and received my health coach training through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I focus on helping people achieve optimal wellness through a whole body approach; emphasizing the importance of not only diet and quality of food, but other factors such as: physical activity, personal relationships, career, emotional wellness, positive mindset & lifestyle and the use of natural therapies.
More about oils: Essential oils are volatile aromatic compounds extracted from plant parts which contain the healing properties of the plants. They penetrate directly in to our cells, providing direct benefits to our body systems. Essential oils are captured and produced through distillation or expression and represent the life blood of the plant, much like blood is to our body system. They are responsible for the repair and regeneration of new cell growth. In ‘essence’, they are like nature’s healthcare.
The term “essential oil” comes from the contraction of the original name “quintessential oil” – stemming from the Aristotelian idea that matter is composed of elements – fire, air, earth and water and the fifth – spirit or life force. (Inspiration for my company name, Elemental Wellness.) Distillation and evaporation were thought to extract this life force from the plant. (from the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy)
Essential oils are effective because they directly affect our sense of smell which is linked to the center of our brain that controls emotions, hormone balance, stress levels, blood pressure, breathing, memory and heart rate. Plants play a vital role in the ecological balance of our planet, but they have also been linked to the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of mankind since the beginning of time.
Elemental Wellness is all about “Finding your own personal ‘element’ of being and to live in that sense of being and mindset daily.”
Elements are the building blocks of everything – a basic or essential constituent. They also represent the power of force of nature. If we can define our own personal element, we can truly be our own force of life and wellbeing. Let’s get back to basics, live simply and ‘Enjoy. Life. More’.
